About the unit
The hepatology and gastroenterology unit at the hospital provides diagnosis and treatment of a full range of long-term and acute chronic liver diseasesin addition to receiving the most effective treatments،
Unit services
- Outpatient clinics (clinic of liver and digestive system diseases-ulcerative colon clinic-clinic for early detection of liver tumors)
- Endoscopes (gastroscopes-colonoscopes-endoscopes of the biliary tract ERCP)
- Inpatient departments (where patients receive inpatient treatment and intensive care at a high level of quality)
- The unit also offers through its program a wide range of treatments for liver-related diseases and we have experience in the following:
Viral Hepatitis - Alcoholic Liver Disease - Liver Cancer - Cholestatic Liver Disease - Fatty Liver Disease - Genetic Liver Diseases - Autoimmune Liver Diseases - Drug- Induced Liver Injury
Objectives of the unit
The unit aims to provide support and education to patients to help them deal with the disease in the long term and treat it.the unit worksdistinguished multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care for each patient. The core team includes doctors with experience in Hepatology and gastroenterology, nurses with experience in dealing with these cases.
