OBJECTIVE
Providing the best possible service for patients with liver, endoscopes, upper and lower gastrointestinal tract.
Working system
- The endoscopy unit performs endoscopes for outpatient cases by Prior booking, in addition to internal cases or from outside the hospital
- Hygiene and general hygiene procedures are carried out permanently for floors, tools, machines and appliances and sterilized with sidex and chlorine
- The patient is admitted to the unit by the administrative methods known in the hospital (patient affairs – payment of fees to the Treasury – treatment at state expense – paid treatment ...Etc.)
- The secretary of the unit receives the patient, completes the admission procedures, makes sure that the administrative procedures are completed, and makes sure that the patient is well prepared before the endoscopy, and added a follow-up card for the endoscopy unit, explaining the diagnosis, treatment and the new follow-up appointment
- The patient is admitted to the recovery room for preparation, as the place is equipped with a bed and a cart with medicines, tools and medical devices, as well as there is an oxygen outlet and suction in the room .
- The patient is admitted to the endoscopy room, where there are endoscopic devices, monitors and computers, and the technicians prepare the room
- The specialist doctor performs the endoscopy and checks on the patient during all stages, then the patient is transferred from the endoscopy room to the recovery room
- The patient remains in the horizon room to follow up his condition after the endoscopy and inform the doctor about any symptoms that appear on the patient
- After the laparoscopic operation, the devices and tools used are completely sterilized in preparation for the following operations, and this is done in a special sterilization room
- After checking on the patient in the horizon room, the following is done :-

- Giving the patient medications according to the doctor's instructions
- Transfer the patient to the patient waiting room
- Hand over the patient the follow-up card and his report, specifying the diagnosis, treatment and the next follow-up appointment .
- The competent worker transfers the patient on the patient chair from the waiting hall to the outside of the hospital.
