The radiology department at the hospital performs the necessary radiology for the patient at the request of the attending physician using the latest radiology devices such as:

• Ordinary rays (X-Ray)
• Radiology TV (Abdominal Ultrasound)
• CT scan (C.T)
• Barium swallow and follow through
• Barium on the colon (barium enema)
• Bone density measurement (DEXA Scan)

Radiology is performed 24 hours a day to serve outpatient patients, reception and inpatient departments.

It is a medical specialty based on the use of various types of radiation in medical imaging to diagnose and sometimes treat diseases

There are many types of Radiology used such as: ordinary  , CT sound waves magnetic resonance nuclear medicine (the use of radioactive substances)  These rays may be used in an interventional medical procedure (inside the body) to diagnose or treat certain diseases

The interventional radiology unit, which contains an arteriography device, thermal frequency devices and microwaves, has been opened and is performing many interventional operations such as:

1. 1. Treatment of liver tumors by thermal frequency, by heating the tumor until its elimination.
   2. Treatment of larger liver tumors with microwaves, using shock microwaves.
   3. Treatment of liver tumors by injecting chemotherapy through a hepatic catheter and closing the artery feeding the tumor.
   4. Liver and tumor sampling.
   5. Treatment of hyperactive and enlarged spleen disease by catheter injection without surgery.
   6. Treatment of congenital vascular defects by catheterization.
   7. Treatment of prostate enlargement by closing the artery.
   8. Treatment of uterine fibroids by closing the artery feeding it with a catheter.
