Mission and purpose

• The purpose of the Drug Information Center is to serve healthcare workers by answering questions about  medicines and medical conditions
• A pharmacist is the person competent to provide specialized medical information about medicines
• The center receives inquiries from doctors, nursing staff and patients

The center's activities are summarized as follows

1. Providing reports on drug interactions and drug side effects
2. Making publications on the correct methods of taking medicines
3. Conducting studies and statistics on the drugs used in the hospital and their effectiveness,such as: antibiotics .

Examples of the quality of the questions received by the center

1. Therapeutic purpose of the drug and indications for its use
2. The dosage of the drug, especially if the patient has kidney and liver problems
3. Method of administration of the drug
4. Side effects of the drug
5. Interaction of the drug with other drugs

Center equipment

The center is equipped with 2 tablets and 1 laptop on which the most important and most famous references for medicines are available, and 1 print edition to provide written reports with answers to inquiries
