About the hospital
The establishment of the Department of Internal Medicine at Mansoura University Hospital dates back to the year 1965. The department was staffed by a teacher, a teaching assistant, and a resident physician (a total of 3). He taught 80 students, and the department included 75 beds.
Until 2003, the department included (30) professors - (14) assistant professors - 45 teachers - 59 assistant teachers and teaching assistants - 49 resident doctors (total of 197). The number of beds became only 110 beds. The department teaches more than 3,400 students annually (for the fourth year). And the fifth and sixth)……………….
